Aluminium Design, Fabrication and Installations

Quality Handrails has been established for over 30 years on the Tweed Coast servicing an area from Coffs Harbour in the south to Noosa in the North.

We design, manufacture and install a wide range of products including balustrade, fencing, handrails, operable and fixed louvre privacy screens, auto gates, pedestrian gates, pergolas, window hoods and much more. All products can be manufactured in aluminium or stainless steel. Glass pool fencing is also a large part of our business. We supply framed, semi-frameless and fully frameless pool fencing to Council requirements and Australian Standards.

Quality Handrails has built up a reputation with small to large builders and developers as a company that can deliver their projects on time and on budget. We have not once missed a deadline by a major builder to achieve CC (Certificate of Classification) or PC (Practical Completion) and pride ourselves on doing the little bit extra to get the project over the line.

Quality Handrails was the Gold Coast Commercial Contractor of the Year and a finalist for the Queensland in 2017.

Engineering

All aluminium and glass products that we are asked to manufacture and install are engineered to the highest standard. We have a long standing relationship with our engineer Rob Showers, of Showers Engineers. Rob is highly respected in the industry and has many years of experience.

As codes and standards are changing we have to update our design criteria accordingly. The new glass standard is one of the newest changes. AS 1288 2006 has toughened up all the applications for glass in balustrade , which was well overdue.
Don’t risk it , make sure you get it signed off by a structural engineer.

Safety

Safety is of the utmost importance for any job that we are doing. We spend a lot of time and resources on providing the public and our own workers with a safe work environment.

All our workers have completed the relevant course for our type of works

  • Blue card
  • Harness training
  • Working at heights

We hold regular meetings to update our workforce on any new procedures and to get feedback from the guys onsite.

We work closely with an independent work place health and safety consultant which overseas our planning and procedures for specific jobs.

There is just no cutting corners with safety.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”margin-large-bottom”][vc_column][grve_divider][/vc_column][/vc_row]
